AIGI 95 High-Efficiency Pump/Valve Packing
AIGI 95 is an interbraided packing of high-quality synthetic phenolic fibre, lubricated with PTFE dispersion both before and after braiding and finished with a unique break-in lubricant. Because lubrication runs all the way through the packing, it delivers extended service life and dramatically reduces equipment damage. It is a high-efficiency choice for general-service pumps.

- Lubricated through and through: Many packings are only lubricated on the surface, so friction climbs sharply once the outer layer wears through. AIGI 95 is lubricated all the way through, with PTFE dispersion applied before and after braiding.

Good to Know
- Heat-tolerant phenolic fibre: The phenolic fibre tolerates high temperatures for a synthetic packing and covers a wide pH range, stopping just short of the strongest alkalis.
- Everyday pressure class: Its pressure rating is modest, which is consistent with its role as an everyday pump packing rather than a heavy-duty valve or slurry product.
- Brown colour: The packing is brown in colour.
- Forgiving installation: Thanks to the built-in break-in lubricant it is forgiving to install, but the usual good practice still applies: seat the rings with staggered joints and bring the gland up gradually rather than fully tightening at start-up.
