SuperChem GQRX Ceramic-Microsphere Epoxy Coating
SuperChem GQRX is a solvent-free, fast-curing repair compound loaded with ultra-wear-resistant ceramic microspheres. It is the SuperChem family's specialist for parts suffering severe sliding wear, and for emergency repairs that have to be back in service quickly.

Where It's Used
- Classic sliding-wear parts: Typical duties are the classic sliding-wear victims: hydrapulpers, spindle sleeves, coal pulverisers and wear-resistant plates.
- Pumps and pipe runs: It also serves slurry and broke pumps, and straight or gently curved pipe runs carrying abrasive media.
- Casting replacement: It is also used as a replacement for engraved cold-hard castings.
Good to Know
- Thick scrape-on application: GQRX is a two-component compound mixed at a set ratio and applied by scraping in a generous thickness; it is supplied in gray.
- Mix in small batches: Because it cures fast, it pays to mix only what can be applied in one working session.
- Ambient and warm duties: It is intended for dry service at modest temperatures, so it suits ambient and warm duties rather than hot ones.
- Hotter jobs elsewhere: For hotter or more chemically demanding surfaces, look to its SuperChem siblings.
