The Alfa Laval T50 is a large-capacity gasketed plate heat exchanger from the Industrial line, built for high-throughput industrial and utility duties. It combines high energy efficiency with a flexible plate pack that opens easily for inspection and cleaning.

Good to Know
- Plates and gaskets: Plates are supplied in a widely used molybdenum-alloyed stainless steel, with gaskets available in several elastomer families to suit the media and operating temperature.
- Frame and connections: The frame and cover are epoxy-painted carbon steel, and port connections follow common flange standards depending on the applicable pressure vessel code.
- Wide design envelope: The design envelope spans vacuum service up to substantial pressures across a wide temperature range.
- Plan the service space: As with all large gasketed units, allowing service space in front of the frame for opening the plate pack pays off at the first inspection.
