Cam-Line Plastic-Lined Trunnion Ball Valve
The Cam-Line is a quarter-turn trunnion ball valve whose body and ball are fully lined with ETFE fluoropolymer, built to isolate highly corrosive and ultra-pure media. By pairing the patented Cam-Tite sealing technology with a trunnion-mounted ball, it delivers bubble-tight shut-off at a noticeably lower operating torque than comparable lined valves.

- Tight seal, light effort: Lined ball valves usually force a trade-off between tight shut-off and heavy operating effort. The Cam-Line addresses both at once.
- Mechanically energized seats: The beveled-edge ball compresses the reinforced PTFE seats as the valve closes.
- Sealing at any line pressure: Shut-off stays positive at both high and low line pressures, rather than relying on line pressure to load the seat.
- Low, dependable torque: Trunnion mounting and live-loaded PTFE stem packing keep torque low and stem sealing reliable over long service.

Where It's Used
- Aggressive chemicals: The valve is intended for chemical fluids that would attack metal wetted parts.
- Oxygen and dry chlorine: Versions prepared for oxygen service and dry chlorine gas duty are available.

- Ductile iron pressure shell: The pressure-retaining body and cover are ductile iron for strength.
- Fully protected wetted path: Every wetted surface is covered by a substantial injection-molded ETFE lining.
- Tested for integrity: Each lined component is spark tested, and every valve receives hydrostatic and seat testing to the relevant MSS practice.
- Straightforward installation: Flanged end connections simplify fitting, and a lever handle is standard with pneumatic or electric actuators available.
- Coatings for harsh plants: Protective PVDF or epoxy exterior coatings can be specified for corrosive plant atmospheres.
