Diaphragms for Dia-Flo Straightway Valves
These replacement diaphragms are the sealing and wear element of Dia-Flo straightway diaphragm valves. A range of elastomer grades (several of them FDA-compliant) plus a PTFE option lets each valve be refreshed with a diaphragm matched to its medium.

Where It's Used
- Water and waste treatment: Applications follow the straightway valve itself, beginning with water and waste treatment.
- Chemical and food lines: Chemical handling and food and beverage lines are equally typical.
- Abrasive and solids-laden flow: The straight-through body is preferred on abrasive or solids-laden streams.
- Food-contact grades: FDA-compliant grades support food-contact duties.
Good to Know
- Grade sets the limits: Each grade carries its own temperature range and size availability, so match the grade to both the medium and the operating temperature.
- Temperature or pressure, not both: A diaphragm at its maximum temperature cannot also be used at maximum pressure, so derate one or the other.
- Keep spares on hand: Since the diaphragm is the valve's principal wear part, stocking the correct grade makes overhauls quick and predictable.
