Pure-Flo Integral Sterile Access & GMP (ISG)

The Pure-Flo Integral Sterile Access & GMP (ISG) merges the two most common hygienic process fabrications, Sterile Access and GMP, into one machined block with the purge valve built into the main body. The result is a single compact valve assembly with far less dead leg than conventional fabricated arrangements.

Product Benefits

  • Welds add dead legs: Conventional Sterile Access and GMP fabrications weld discrete valves together, and every weld and stub adds hold-up volume and potential dead legs.
  • Machined from one block: Machining the main and purge valves from a single block greatly reduces contact surfaces, hold-up volume and the overall dimensional envelope.
  • Several designs in one: Simply rotating the assembly yields the standard sterile-access porting plus vertical GMP porting above or below the weir.
  • Simpler specification: One block covering several arrangements makes specification and spares easier to manage.

Where It's Used

  • Diversion and sampling: The ISG is built for process diversion and steam-barrier block sampling in biopharmaceutical plants.
  • Point-of-use and branches: It belongs at the point-of-use and branch locations where clean process lines meet sampling, drain or steam-barrier duties.
  • Dead-leg control: It suits WFI and other clean systems where dead-leg control is a validation requirement.

Good to Know

  • 316L bodies: Bodies are 316L stainless steel with other materials available on request.
  • Patented design: The integral block design is patented.
  • Hygienic connections: Tube-weld ends in common gauges, DIN/ISO standards and Tri-Clover Tri-Clamp connections are offered.
  • Standard topworks: The assembly takes standard Pure-Flo topworks, so actuation, diaphragms and spare parts stay common with the rest of a Pure-Flo installation.
