The Zero Static Back to Back Sample (ZSBBS) modifies a standard Zero Static Tee with an integral valve on the back of the assembly that accesses a sample port upstream of the weir, typically using a 0.5" Bio-Tek or Pure-Flo valve. This greatly reduces contact surfaces, hold-up volume, and possible dead-legs versus sample valves welded to the exterior of a standard Zero Static valve, helping meet the demanding L/D ratios of the ASME BPE standard. The sample outlet uses a 0.75"-to-0.5" reducing ferrule to maximize drainability of the small-diameter port.
