Pure-Flo Zero Static Block Body

The Pure-Flo Zero Static Block Body Tee is among the most critical use-point valves in the biopharmaceutical industry. Machined as a block body, it lets process fluids be transferred, sampled, drained or diverted with minimal impact on the loop it serves.

Product Benefits

  • Stagnation is the enemy: At a point of use, every bit of stagnant volume threatens the quality of the water behind it.
  • Minimal dead leg: The zero-static block design places the valve weir essentially at the run of the pipe, so the loop keeps circulating cleanly even when the outlet is closed.
  • Machined, not fabricated: Machining the tee from a block rather than welding it up from parts reduces contact surfaces and weld count.
  • Easier validation: Fewer welds and surfaces simplify cleaning, inspection and validation.

Where It's Used

  • Critical water loops: It serves as the point-of-use and piping-branch valve on systems such as WFI and purified-water loops in biopharmaceutical plants.
  • Draw-off and sampling: Typical duties are drawing water off the loop and taking samples.
  • Draining and diverting: It also handles draining and diverting flow to a branch.

Good to Know

  • 316L and alternates: Bodies are 316L stainless steel, with alternates including AL6XN and Hastelloy grades available on request.
  • Broad size pairing: Valve and run sizes pair across a broad range.
  • Hygienic connections: Tube-weld ends in common gauges plus DIN/ISO and Tri-Clover Tri-Clamp connections are offered.
  • Standard topworks: The valve is compatible with standard Pure-Flo topworks, so actuation, diaphragm choices and spares follow the same platform as the rest of a Pure-Flo installation.
